In family therapy, our therapists work with as many members of the family as possible to change patterns and improve communication skills with a goal of minimizing conflict and improving relationships. Using a strength-based approach, we find the positive assets a family already has in place and facilitates each family’s ability to work together to prioritize these strengths.

Often, individual therapy for younger children (or even adolescents) can turn into family therapy, as assisting parents in understanding what their children are experiencing is the key to facilitating change within their behaviors.

Issues we often address:

  • Parenting Issues

  • Behavioral Issues in Children

  • Separation and Divorce

  • Family Transitions and Adjustments

  • Grief and Loss

  • Trauma

  • ADHD

NOTE: We are an LGBTQIA+ affirming practice that welcomes sexual, gender, and relationship diversity.
